Frequently Asked Questions

If you don't see showtimes on future calendar dates posted yet, not to worry! We post our showtimes usually by Wednesday afternoon each week.  Thank you!

GENERAL

We typically open 15 minutes before the first weekday movie and 30 minutes before the first weekend movie. We close the front doors 15 minutes after the last movie has started.

We recommend purchasing tickets online. That way, you won’t have to wait at the box office and you guarantee your seat! And, it is super easy: Just select the movie you want to see, hover over the time you prefer, and the word BUY will appear. Just click it and you're on your way!

The service fee covers the external costs of online financial transactions. Fortunately, we keep our service, or convenience, fee the lowest of any other online movie ticketing platform.

When you need to reach us directly, please email us through our contact us page. Your email will go directly to a staff member; most emails are answered within a few hours.  Our Contact Us form ensures that your message will reach the right person asap!

If you get our voicemail, that just means we are busy helping customers and can't answer the phone. We will be sure to return your call within 24 hours. But, the quickest and easiest way to reach us is by our online Contact Us form. Most emails are answered within a couple of hours. We look forward to hearing from you!

Yes, our guests can dress up in costumes. However we do have costume restrictions. Face paint, face masks, and weapons of any kind are not permitted.

Never! We are open 365 days a year! We post our upcoming movie showtimes by Wednesday morning each week.

Yes! Please apply through our online application at MovieScoop.com/employment.

We post the upcoming movie schedule by Wednesday morning each week. We also post the showtimes for future movies with sneak previews! So, if you don't see any movies listed for the weekend yet, not to worry -- the showtimes will be available by Wednesday at the latest!

Each movie is booked for one week at a time. The length of its showing depends largely on the movie's popularity and other scheduled releases. We generally find out by Tuesday afternoon what will be playing for the week ahead; showtimes and films are posted by Wednesday afternoon at the latest. If you are interested in booking a party for a specific movie, please contact us and we can help you organize and schedule your party around that movie's expected dates.

It's easy! Just look for the "LUX" icon next to the desired showtime, and make your reservation there! Waterworks Cinemas has only luxury auditoriums, so showtimes there do not need to be identified with this icon.

RATINGS AND ADMISSION GUIDELINES

Using the Motion Picture Association of America’s rating system and suggested age guidelines, guests must be 17 years or older with a valid ID to purchase a ticket to an R-rated movie. For showtimes after 9pm, only those who are at least 17 years of age and with a valid ID are allowed in the auditorium. If someone younger than 17 years is in the auditorium after 9pm, they will be asked to leave without refund. For R-rated showtimes before 9pm, guests aged 13-16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If there is no parent or guardian in attendance, the tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. Children 12 years and under are not permitted in R-rated features. All guests for R-rated features are charged as adults.

Guests younger than two years old are free, provided they sit on their parent's or guardian's lap.

Anyone between two years and 12 years of age qualifies for the child ticket price. Anyone 60 years and older can enjoy the senior ticket prices. We also offer lower ticket prices on "Senior Thursdays" -- and a special concession deal!

MOVIE THEATER ETIQUETTE

To ensure all guests fully enjoy their movie going experience, we ask that all guests respect the following rules: 1) no smartphone use during a feature presentation; 2) no excessively loud talking during a feature presentation; 3) no alcohol, vaping, smoking of any kind, or drug use on cinema grounds; 4) only working law enforcement personnel may carry weapon(s) onto cinema grounds. Anyone whose behavior does not allow other patrons to watch their movie will be asked to leave without a refund. If necessary, police will be called.

In case a guest is excessively loud, disruptive, and/or demonstrating offensive behavior, a staff member will issue a warning. Should a guest continue such offensive, disruptive, or loud behavior, the individual(s) will have to leave the theater grounds without a refund. Police may be called if necessary.

We do not allow external drinks or food into the theater without prior approval for a special event or birthday party.

We are joining other retailers in asking our customers to not carry firearms into our theaters other than authorized law enforcement officials.

We reserve the right to search any large bag, purse, or backpack before a guest enters the theater. If the patron refuses the search request, this individual will not be admitted. Thank you for understanding and cooperating with this rule so that everyone feels comfortable.
